DPS Schools were honored with the United Way Spirit Award in recognition of the staff and students' strong commitment to giving back to the community. The RMS Builders Club played a leading role in this achievement by organizing the fundraising campaign and dedicating many volunteer hours to local service projects. Ms. Becker and two Builders Club officers attended the May board meeting to share this accomplishment with the school board. #gopurple

We celebrated our last KINDNESS day today! It is always so joyful when celebrating our amazing students!

Yesterday, we celebrated two of our 2nd grade team members, Mrs. Kingham and Mrs. Sandee. These individuals pour love into our school and our students daily. We hope they "Toot their own horns" all week long!

2nd grade raised Painted Lady butterflies. Each class received 6 caterpillars, food, and a habitat. This was part of our life cycle unit in Amplify.

Students from Ms. Stone's class in 2nd grade enjoyed some time outdoors for "O" in our ABC Countdown. We had the perfect weather for reading outside!

Jefferson is so thankful to this wonderful group of volunteers for setting up this amazing "Special Friends Shop" just before Mother's Day. The kids LOVED choosing gifts for someone special at home. Thank you for providing this experience for our students!
