On Sunday, DHS wrestlers competed in the IWCOA Fresh/Soph Regionals Tournament in Morrison. Five wrestlers placed first and one placed second. Effective immediately, drivers, monitors, and students will no longer be required to wear masks on buses in DPS #170. Areas in low or medium COVID ranges will no longer need to require masks on school buses. The District continues to encourage individuals to wear masks in areas in which they cannot properly socially distance and the buses will continue to maintain supplies of masks for students to use at their requests. We are BEYOND PROUD of these two Duchesses- Shea & Jessica... After our regional game last night at Rochelle I looked up to find these 2 cleaning the student bleacher section we were cheering in! Throwing away trash to help their custodians have an easier night cleaning!

The girls basketball regional championship game vs Galesburg in Sterling has been postponed from tonight (Thursday) until tomorrow (Friday). 3 point contest at 5:30, game at 7:00.

5Essentials Parent Survey Update: Thank you to the parents/guardians who took the 5Essentials Parent Survey last week. Below are the percentages for each building. You can take a survey for each building you have a child in. Don't forget to fill out the entry form and return it to your child's school to be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card to a local vendor.
